Social & Emotional Support

  • The school will develop Individual Education Plans and Individual Behaviour Plans for each child that take full account of their special needs (ADHD, ASD, Attachment Disorder etc)

  • The school will work proactively with specialist agencies to support the pupils and their families (eg Educational Psychology service, Autism service, Social Services)

  • The school will employ a variety of therapists to work with pupils individually

  • The school will keep photographic and other evidence of the work done and progress made by pupils. The photographs will be shared with parents throughout the year. A selection of these photographs will be embedded in the annual school report for parents, building the pupil’s confidence and self-esteem.
